Batch converting iPhone HEIC images to JPEG in CLI

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how you can easily convert your iPhone photo’s from HEIC files to JPEG files.

Go to your Linux terminal
Install libheif-examples
sudo apt install libheif-examples -y

Copy your HEIC images to a folder.
CD into that folder.

for f in *.HEIC; do heif-convert -q 100 $f $f.jpg; done

All the HEIC-files in your current folder will be converted to JPEG-files.
